Connor has taken an extremely proactive and aggressive approach towards implementation
of the RoHS directive and is fortunately on target to achieve full compliance
in Q4 2005 well ahead of the July 2006 deadline.
All processes have been validated, compliant consummables have been selected,
replacement and parallel equipment requirements identified and ordered. All employees
will have their IPC-610-A Class D training Proficiency Certificate completed by
September 2005.
Material compliance for all new orders is now app 85% and will be reduced to
obsolescence and re-design issues by the end of July 2005. Connor has stopped
receiving leaded material except under concession.
